Online voting for the inaugural Consumers Value Awards begins on April 1st with over 100 products nominated for voting in the maiden edition.
The award, a periodic online programme aimed at recognizing the outstanding contribution of Nigerian entrepreneurs, debuted with the recent unveiling of a platform (website) to gauge consumers’ experiences.
Hosted by Consumer Value Broadcasting, the Consumers Value Awards will serve as a way of recognizing consumers’ experiences as a vehicle for distinguishing leading products, services, and companies worthy of consumers’ money.
Speaking on the nomination and voting, the Managing Director, Akonte Ekine, said, “The awards, which feature more than 30 categories covering corporate organizations to technology entrepreneurs and inventors, is intended to acknowledge the commitment of brands to innovation, superior customer service and excellence, and they are purely decided by public vote within a three-month voting phase.”
Some of the categories covered include banking, telecommunication, beverages, aviation, Milk, construction, Cooking Oil, FMCG, Logistics, Oil and Gas, Telecoms Infrastructure, Internet Service Providers, and Oral care products, etc.
“The voting process requires consumers to visit the portal (https://consumersvalueawards.com/votes/) and vote for their favorite brands based on their experiences, but they can only vote once in each category”, Akonte added.
The voting for the second quarter 2022 voting will start on April 1 and end on June 30 at 12 midnight. Consumers Value Broadcasting is committed to enlisting mass awareness of consumers to their rights as consumers.
